i've heard of Hana Yori Dango but have never read it, I've actually still never read the manga for HYD despite how much I love the drama. Actually I think I haven't read the manga *because* of how much I love the drama version. Possibly also why I haven't dipped my toes in the pond of the cracky GG books, despite the fact that Chuck apparently has a MONKEY in them.

That was probably the most surprising part as I was putting it together. I knew that both shows used a lot of the same storylines but the fact that it was visually so similar added a whole new level of hilarity.
