EPIIIIIIIC! EPIC BEYOND THE USUAL SCOPE OF THE WORD! I'M SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW!


This is the fulfillment of a dream I've had since before we were even friends, back when you were just the magical girl who had introduced me to the idea of GG/HYD! Even knowing a lot of the content of this picspam did not detract in the slightest from the JAW-DROPPING impact of the SIMILARITIES!

OKAY GO (obvs, you don't need to reply to all this, I just wanted to give you a little commentary for your effort!):
#2: Wow, the "getting pegged with foodstuffs" scenes even look like mirror images! A+ The shoes! I didn't even realize how visually similar that is!

#3: Snotty facial expressions are universal.

#4: Love the caps you picked! The b&w! There is a ridiculous amount of pretty between those eight people.

#5: HAHAHA, you can't contain the GAY FOR EACH OTHER love in GG. I like that the Serena/Blair panel is the longest for their love is constant. <3

#6: Yesss, so many categories! I still think of this as the heart of the comparison, though I was honestly impressed by the how many plotlines the shows shared when we really went over it. My favorite is DRAMA QUEENS as the visual ACE, though obvs LIMO STALKING AND FASHION as also key. WHO AMONG US WILL BE THE FIRST TO WRITE A CHUCK/DOMYOUJI SHOPPING MONTAGE?

#8: Okay, this is also the heart of the spam! I like that both OTPs were also not originally intended by their creator but rather punched them in the face with awesome had a life of their own. The cellphones and the punching/abuse panels are so much love BUT I HONESTLY HAD NOT CONNECTED THE BACK HUGS. OMG, that is just EVIDENCE that GG is an Asian drama is disguise!

#9: Not letting her punch you right in the face? WTF dude? It's like I don't even know you.
HAVE I TOLD YOU LATELY THAT ILU? Yessss. The caps right above that are so matching! Heartbreak! Also, I will never tire of the phrase "hookers and blow".

#10 AND #11: WOW EXACTLY THE SAME. I think how the second sleep-cute ends in a different-but-equally-fabulous way! Domyouji face is so wonderfully "Yeah, that's right, I slept with my girlfriend! I'm such a player!"

#12: Both of these scenes make me BURST WITH JOY. Chuck and Domyouji are so laaaame crafty. <3 I can't say whether I'm more charmed by Domyouji rolling down the window or Chuck's "WAFFLES, Y/Y?"

#15: ALSO EXACTLY THE SAME. Seriously I love that Chuck and Domyouji's fields are both "style and surveillance". A+! Also, awwww, Domyouji hugging Susumu! So precious!

#17: TOMAAAA! I totes haven't rewatched Handan since I fell in love with him. This needs to be rectified.

#18: Look at their eyes and answer this question: are they crazy? No, guys, no! I know they're hot. I'm saying ARE THOSE SOME CRAZY EYES?
WIN WIN WIN. Seriously, the most serious threat to private high school students? MODELS. Dude, Jenny in particular should have seen that one coming but she was too distracted by the GIANT PYRAMID OF VITAMIN WATER. This is the danger of product placement, folks!

WILD APPLAUSE! I appreciate all your time spent on this! You really did the idea justice. I like how I'm coming in a day late and you already have an amazing amount of comments. Plus it just WARMS MY HEART to see people say they're now going to watch these shows (especially Hanadan because you are giving them the keys to an entire kingdom of wonderful crack!).
