So I step away from the computer for one day and I miss Buffy's 10 year anniversary. Man, I'm old. Anyway just thought I'd say happy Buffy Day, even though it's not even the 10th anymore. Whatever. I'm fashionably late.

I loved Buffy like a hardcore, crazy person. I watched religiously since the third season started airing, after catching up on the first two seasons the summer before that. So I basically started watching during Buffy's pinnacle year (imo). I was there with Buffy through the good times and the bad. And then the more bad.
But no matter what happened, I stayed with the show until the very end. Because it was Buffy. And because I loved all the characters, the universe and even the nutty people that felt the need to make Spike and Buffy into SPUFFY. No ship name has ever matched it's awfulness. (Except maybe LoVe...no...LoVe wins actually)
It was the best show on television and it'll still continue to be my favorite show in my heart. It was groundbreaking and awesome, gave us some great stars, wonderful performances, hiliarous moments and heart wrenching sadness.
So to Buffy, Willow, Xander, Giles, Anya, Oz, Faith, Cordelia, Angel, Tara, Spike....and even Dawn: We miss you. And thanks to Joss Whedon for making one of my favorite shows of all time.
