I am so -- very -- behind on Lost. SO BEHIND. I need to catch up, but I don't know when I will. Like you said: the first batch of episodes (Sawyer/Kate hook-up aside) was not so amazing. So I'm really having a difficult time convincing myself to watch. I DO hope it gets better. I will be sad if it doesn't.

Also, I love Sawyer/Kate. I don't care who Jack ends up with as long as it isn't Kate. I also love Desmond. He might be my #1 reason for watching the show at this point.
