I know! And I love how TW put emphasis on the word friends like maybe even Clark knew that really that was BS and it was all about how Chloe could never, ever leave him.
Allison is a master at that and that's one of the reasons I'm a huge fan of her acting.
I love it when Allison does that. It's just so CHLOE. Even though she's falling apart she tries to hold herself together.
That was blatant romantic jealousy. I said romantic because I'm tired of reading that he was just a concerned platonic friend. If it was platonic then Clark would only be concerned that's she running away with a dangerous being and not whether or not she has feelings for Davis.
I cannot even imagine how that scene can be read as strictly plantonic. He's barely holding it together during the whole scene. He's SO MAD and sad and scared that she would a.) leave him and b.) leave him for somone she might also LIKE.
