Anyway, I'll probably always like HYD better, if only because there's less sex and corruption or whatever.
Oh I totally agree, although I would love some Tsukasa/Tsukushi limo!sex. LOL! But really, taking out the sex really rackets up the UST and makes every little thing more romantic. Which is why the sunset kiss is still the most epic thing that ever epic'd. :P
Why I'm able to feel this same sympathy for Domyoji is beyond me.
Possibly this is because Domyouji has the mental age of a five year old? Whenever he's sad it's like looking at a kicked puppy. He just doesn't understand that normal people don't stalk their sort-of-girlfriends.
But with the movies and stuff, that's nearly 20 years of material, in three countries. It's definitely got way more longevity.
I still find it insane how long/prolific Hanadan is. It's all over the place. Obviously there's something sort of universal about the story that people respond to.
