So I really liked the Gossip Girl finale? WTF not expecting that. Maybe it was because I was already spoiled for a lot of it? But they got me with all the drama and the previous season call backs and the pilot references. I'M EASY OK?

Seriously I get why people are mad about the finale. I'm personally not all that concerned RE: Blair/Chuck. I cannot grasp how people are more upset about him sleeping with Jenny than they are about him pimping her out to Uncle Rape-a-lot. Chuck sleeps with everyone. Chuck was partying with hookers and blow like the very episode before.

Although I do love that Blair's line in the sand was sleeping with Jenny Humphrey. She's totally fine with him going on an opium bender and sleeping with every prostitute and cirque du soleil member in the city. But JENNY CORPSE BRIDE HUMPHREY? Fuck no. We're through. I actually really follow Blair's logic there. I wouldn't want to get anywhere near the rat's nest on top of Jenny's head, even if only secondhand.

Blair and Chuck will be fine. Not for awhile but eventually. They're the WHOLE SHOW. I've stopped worrying about them as a couple. They'll always find each other in the end. They are the only two people of equal awesome and evil.

I'm more worried, honestly, about my lovely shiny happy people AKA Serena and Nate. I'm encouraged that Blair referred to them as "mythic" because really...they are. No two people on that show are as simple and pretty and happy as they are. They just bounce around, doing stupid things and ruining everyone's life by complete accident and it's wonderful. I NEED MORE SERENA/NATE. I'm not willing to let go of them yet! I'm sincerely worried about them. They light up my life.

With that said? It was actually sort of nice to see Serena/Dan again. Don't get me wrong, I do NOT want that to happen again. It looks like it is and I am not on board. BUT with that said? It felt like Dan was more likable in this episode than he's been all season (except for in scenes with Blair) and more relevant too. I'm 1000% team dumb golden retrievers but I won't mind getting more Serena/Dan interaction. And I buy that after all the stuff with her dad she would fall back into the Serena/Dan blackhole briefly. He was her first love. But I'm hoping the show doesn't forget Serena/Nate. Seriously. They are SO DEAR.

I actually felt really terrible for Jenny. I don't actually hate her like a lot of people do. (Unlike Vanessa, who serves no purpose on the show other than annoying me and being Dan, but so much creepier.) Jenny is there for hilarious drama (like remember that time she was a drug dealer!? Or when Agnes SLOWLY burned her clothes after the ~guerrilla fashion show~?) and I appreciate that. By the end of the episode she had blown up every major relationship on the show. It might be annoying but it is impressive.

And her downward spiral has been really well developed over the season. I came up with this theory about Jenny awhile back because I was trying to figure out what was her thing. Like Blair is all about control and Vanessa is all about stalking and Chuck is all about the burlesque which makes him perfect for Blair because she's always staging these movies in her head. And I could probably write an essay about Serena but my thoughts have been pretty scattered on her lately so I'll spare everyone.

I figured out that Jenny's thing is that she always wants the thing that she can't have. If you put something up on a shelf and tell Jenny she can't have it she will rappel up by her disgusting extensions to get it. She wants to be Queen but not just in time, NOW so she disposes Blair to do it. She wants to get into fashion so she gets an internship with Eleanor. But that's not good enough so she has to QUIT SCHOOL because this is the only time in her life she'll get a chance! And then she's not content in just working for Eleanor, she has to be in meetings! Then she starts her own clothing line! And this season she's finally gotten everything she ever thought she wanted. So no wonder she went crazy and started dealing drugs and trying to get Nate away from Serena. She had nothing left to WANT. My guess is if she got Nate that relationship would have lasted for two seconds. It's not Nate she actually wants, it's just the thing she can't have.

Without something to strive for this season she's just gone increasingly nutsballs until it finally spiraled into sleeping with Chuck, which is the universally recognized symbol that you've hit rock bottom on this show. I actually felt terrible for her the whole episode, despite all her problems being of her own making. And when she was crying with all her zombie eye makeup smudged all over her face: ouch. Taylor Momsen might seem like the most pretentious teenager ever in real life but girl can ACT.

All the callbacks to the first season were also surprisingly well done. Georgina at Grand Central, Jenny looking out the window, Chuck/Jenny and face punching, Nate getting shut down by Serena, Blair not showing up for Chuck instead of vice versa, and the two girls taking off together. Blair's outfit here even mirrored her s1 finale outfit. And the green coat was obviously supposed to remind us of the green coat she wore in the s2 finale.

I was so happy to see Serena and Blair ride off together into the sunset on a romantic trip to Paris. They are, were and always will be the true OTP of the show. And I love the idea of them both single at the same time. It really gets me excited for the Paris episodes next season. There is little I want to see more than Blair and Serena unleashing their unique brand of destruction on Paris. I'm betting that by the second day Blair will be crowned some kind of royalty and Serena will have accidentally knocked down the Eiffel Tower.

So just posting up the comments I left on the NYMag reality index. Here's hoping I make the recap of the recap again this week! That would make three for three!

-50 for everyone going on and on about how "romantic" Chuck's Affair to Remember ultimatum is. I buy that Chuck would think this was the most romantic thing he'd ever done since just not date raping people is romantic for Chuck but wouldn't anyone else notice this was horrible? I mean Chuck was really going to propose in front of TOURISTS?

+20 for Serena being able to pack up for Paris in approximately three minutes. All her clothes are only about a yard of fabric, so I'm assuming she could get about half her wardrobe in one suitcase.

-100 for the gross Chuck/Jenny hookup and minus an additional 50 for Blair not immediately knowing something was up when she popped over. You know if this was real Chuck would have been covered in dead weave and zombie eye makeup.

+20 for Jenny's evil voodoo powers managing to (almost) successfully blow up every major couple on this show.

The more evil Jenny got the more tendril-like her Medusa hair became. By the end of the episode it looked like her hair was performing these acts of bitchery independent of her. IT'S ALIVE. And it has a plan! Plus 50.

+100 for the Humphrey hug and the look of absolute horror on Lily and Eric's faces when they're asked to join in. In that moment I like to believe Lily started reevaluating her life choices. Fake cancer in Palm Beach not looking so bad now huh?

+30 for Georgina being 20 months pregnant. That baby bump was HUGE but then it would have to be to accommodate all the ego and craziness. I can only imagine the terrifying poems baby Dangina will someday write.

I might do a finale picspam soon with all the comparisons to other seasons/the pilot. Also I realize this post is completely ridiculous. Sometimes I think lots of thoughts about Gossip Girl! I can't help it!

XOXO

To me, Jenny represents to Blair a few things:

-The Queenship and Constance (aka her past and her impression of herself).

-Serena (aka effed-up, Blonde-tastic and a Van der Humphrey)

-The spiral of destruction that Blair is aware of potentially within herself.

It must have mortified Blair to know Chuck bedded Jenny, a blend of Serena and herself, but a version lacking the control she so dearly holds.

I personally was astounded that Dan was so quick to attack Chuck, as though sex doesn't take two people, and Jenny clearly consented. After all, no one pressed charges, and Dan was well aware of his sister's dire condition. The blame lies in a few places here--not least Rufus and his atrocious parenting.

I agree so much with everything you said about Blair/Jenny. I've always seen Jenny has sort of a mini-Blair. (Except with terrible eye makeup/hair.) But you're right about her being more of a mix of Blair and Serena. Jenny's always been a threat to Blair because she's a Blair that doesn't follow the rules (like Serena.) Jenny has always been about getting to where Blair is but trying to skip past all the working for it.

So yea, while I laughed that Jenny Humphrey is worse than an array of hookers to Blair, it totally makes sense from a character pov. (And that's even putting aside the whole time that her mom replaced her with Jenny. Blair has had issues with Jenny since forever.)

I personally was astounded that Dan was so quick to attack Chuck, as though sex doesn't take two people, and Jenny clearly consented.

IDK I don't blame Dan for punching Chuck. I mean, Chuck didn't really do anything wrong but I think I would punch him too if he slept with my little sister. Chuck is NOT the guy you want sleeping with your little sister. And he had apparently seen how messed up by the experience Jenny was. So I give everyone a bit of a pass on jumping on Chuck. I mean...he IS Chuck Bass.

Oh man though, I feel like Rufus should always get the blame for everything when it comes to what a monster Jenny is. His parenting might even be worse than Eleanor (who goads her daughter into bulmia) and Lily's (who abandons her kids on days that end in y).

I haven't been following Gossip Girl, so this just sounds like a bunch of insanity to me. (Not that that's not, you know, NORMAL with this show.)

I want Dan/Blair. I realize this makes me an anarchist. I can deal with that.

Kind of hopeful for D/B.

I'm a diehard C/B, but Dan and Blair have insane chemistry in their scenes which I love. Also, HILARITY ENSUES.

I don't think I'd want to see anything more than maybe a brief D/B one night stand situation but I DO love their scenes together. They're hilarious.

Insanity is the jet fuel on which this show runs! LOL!

I want Dan/Blair. I realize this makes me an anarchist. I can deal with that.

A lot of people love them actually! I personally have never seen the appeal of them in canon (in fic I'm on board) but I see why people like them. I just think that Dan Humphrey is so judgemental that he couldn't even deal with Serena, who's only problems are that she accidentally ruins people's lives on occasion and she can't find enough material to cover both her boobs and her legs at the same time. How would he deal with the molten vat of crazy that is Blair?

Chuck and Blair breaking up didn't really bother me because we all know it's not going to last, I was just annoyed at how underwhelming their make-up kiss was. Seriously, what is with the direction of them this season? Okay they have had some cute moments of snuggling, but what is with sucking all of the passion out of that relationship

And yeah, I hated Dan and Serena during season 1, but I got did get a little nostalgic for them in the finale. They were cute, and Dan does seem to have have grown up a bit, so I'm cautiously on-board

Oh I know exactly what you mean. I think my favorite episode of their's all season was after Blair pimped Chuck out and they made up and Chuck was like "You're not trustworthy...but neither am I! We're both evil! BWAHAHA LET'S PLOT AND THEN SEX. MAYBE IN THE OPPOSITE ORDER? IDK!" And they made out. But seriously, I think the show has some misplaced notion that they have to play them as either angsty or cutesy which doesn't really track? I'd rather see them banter and scheme and then make out.

And yeah, I hated Dan and Serena during season 1, but I got did get a little nostalgic for them in the finale. They were cute, and Dan does seem to have have grown up a bit, so I'm cautiously on-board.

Agreed! It made me nostalgic seeing them together again. I loved them in s1 and then thought the drag out in s2 was ridic. And now I'm in love with my flossy OTP Nate/Serena. But it was nice to see them back together again. Dan is so much more likable (and relevant to the overall plot) when he is with Serena. I hope they figure out some way to get them to interact while still allowing me my stupid golden retreiever OTP.

Maybe it was because I was already spoiled for a lot of it? But they got me with all the drama and the previous season call backs and the pilot references. I'M EASY OK?

That was my exact feeling! And I watched the last 6 over the weekend (I was behind) and was spoiled for them, too, which also made things better. Maybe this is one of those rare shows where spoilers are good?

I cannot grasp how people are more upset about him sleeping with Jenny than they are about him pimping her out to Uncle Rape-a-lot.

YES. I get why BLAIR'S upset, but as a viewer? It's Chuck. I'd be mad at maybe every other character on tv if they immediately slept with someone else immediately after thinking the love of their life gave up on them, but Chuck? Of course that's what he did!

And, yeah, what you said about not being worried about Chuck/Blair long term. They're it for each other and I think they know it. That doesn't mean Blair is (or maybe even should) forgive him anytime soon, but she knows he's ~the one.~

I figured out that Jenny's thing is that she always wants the thing that she can't have.

I can see this. And I've been working on a theory for why the audience doesn't like her and I think it's because she doesn't really have anyone to love her. Haha, which I know sounds all kind of melodramatic, but when Blair does evil stuff, it doesn't really matter because Chuck, Serena and even Nate are going to love her no matter what. Jenny doesn't really have that. She and Dan don't have much of a relationship these days. And I feel like Eric could be that character for her, but he's not around enough. So when Jenny does evil things, everyone on the show hates her and there isn't that person who says, "It was wrong, but I love you anyway" and makes the audience see in her in a better light.

And I found myself weirdly shipping Dan/Serena. I've never been a huge fan of them and I'd like to see Nate/Serena done well, but here? It really was kind of nice.

Maybe this is one of those rare shows where spoilers are good?

I'm honestly starting to believe that. Because had that Jenny/Chuck thing hit me out of nowhere I think I would still be WTFing. But since I saw that UK promo I had like a whole week to go through the stages of grief and come to a place where it sort of made sense, even though it made me want to kill the writers.

I'd be mad at maybe every other character on tv if they immediately slept with someone else immediately after thinking the love of their life gave up on them, but Chuck? Of course that's what he did!

Exactly! Five seconds after they broke up he was always picking up girls ten feet taller than him and doing blow. What do people expect? I still think "pimped out to rapey uncle" is so much worse in the grand scheme of things than sleeping with yet ANOTHER girl.

They're it for each other and I think they know it. That doesn't mean Blair is (or maybe even should) forgive him anytime soon, but she knows he's ~the one.~

Yup. The show really has itself in a corner as far as they're concerned because they can't really partner swap like they can with everyone else. Chuck and Blair are too perfect for each other (and too evil) to really be with anyone else. <3

And I've been working on a theory for why the audience doesn't like her and I think it's because she doesn't really have anyone to love her.

I think you're actually dead on there. Because no matter what kind of crazy shit Blair pulls, we have people going "well ok, but we' understand Blair's various mental things that lead to this terrible thing she did". Whereas Jenny (as you said) really only has Rufus, who is the worst parent in the world. If Eric was a more consistent prescene on the show I think it would be easier to emphasize with her.

Yea I agree about the Dan/Serena being well done. It's sort of like how the Nate/Blair resurgence started out in s2. I liked how the introduced it (although the actual relationship was horrible) and it made sense in context. When you're at the bottom it makes sense to go back to your first love. I hope we get more Nate/Serena next season though. I adore them.

Oh man. OH MAN.

So many THOUGHTS. And I agree with you almost one hundred percent...minus a few things. lol.

I was really heinously upset that Chuck slept with Jenny. I didn't like, didn't like it at all. And I don't blame Blair for one second. Yeah, she'll take Chuck after billions of hookers and kilos and kilos of coke are done with him....but one night with Jenny Humphrey? Hell no. Blair doesn't do sloppy seconds. Also, I like how everyone acted like she was ravished at the hands of one Chuck Bass. I mean, hey yo, it takes two to tango, and boy, did Jenny tango.

I went back and watched the pilot and I completely miss Dan and Serena. Despite my love for Nate/Serena/Golden locks of sunshine, I have always carried a torch for Dan/Serena. ALWAYS. I think Nate and Serena need smarter counterparts. If they're together, their future would just consist of lots of pretty sex, made up problems and pregnancy scares. Also fresh faced, natural haired pilot Jenny made me sad. Oh the bitchy, disgusting future you have, Little J!

I too believe that Blair and Chuck will make it through. However, if its because he gets shot, I will feel cheated. That would be ridiculously predictable and I won't have it!

All I ask is that the writers please do something...I don't care if its new characters...to keep from recycling through the same couples again and again. I mean. Seriously. If Nate and Blair get back together or anybody gets with Vanessa I will just...ugh, do not know.

And I am too glad about Serena and Blair partying it up in Paris. But, wtf, Dan, that plane ticket to Paris to "woo" Serena would do nothing but make things awkward and make Blair hate you. Does the UES/Brooklyn have no tact? Give the girls some break up space, damn.

Anywho, onward to next season!

Haha! Awesome! I think so many thoughts about Gossip Girl, even though I know I shouldn't. Good to see I'm not alone though! <3

Yeah, she'll take Chuck after billions of hookers and kilos and kilos of coke are done with him....but one night with Jenny Humphrey? Hell no. Blair doesn't do sloppy seconds.

WORD. I think it's funny that the line Blair draws is Jenny Humphrey. Like fine, sleep with some hookers and do some blow. Whatever. But there is NO WAY Blair is getting back together with you after you've touched Little J and her 80 pounds of eyemakeup. GAME OVER.

Despite my love for Nate/Serena/Golden locks of sunshine, I have always carried a torch for Dan/Serena. ALWAYS.

I actually feel the same. I ways always Dan/Serena until they got back together (the 2nd time) in s2. And then I was like "OMG I NEED A BREAK FROM THEM". And despite how much I love my happy flossy couple I still have a special place in my heart for them. I honestly still hope to see Serena/Nate again next season but I wouldn't die if some Serena/Dan stuff happens.

The problem with Nate/anyone else is that I'm pretty sure he's never been as delightful with anyone else as with Serena. I mean he and Vanessa were cute but they were just thrown together randomly without any buildup because the writers needed to work Vanessa into the show more and so I could never really care abotu them too much.

However, if its because he gets shot, I will feel cheated. That would be ridiculously predictable and I won't have it!

Agreed. That would be the worst. I hope GG thinks up something better (or at least MORE dramatic and hilarious) than that.

If Nate and Blair get back together or anybody gets with Vanessa I will just...ugh, do not know.

Agreed. No one wants to see either of those things happen again. Can Vanessa stay in Haiti?

But, wtf, Dan, that plane ticket to Paris to "woo" Serena would do nothing but make things awkward and make Blair hate you. Does the UES/Brooklyn have no tact? Give the girls some break up space, damn.

I laughed so hard when I saw he was going to buy a ticket. I just imagined how awkward that would have been after Serena told him to GTFO. Like...what does he do then? Hope you got a hotel Dan! You're not staying with Serena and Blair! They have shopping to do and crepes to eat and berets to wear! THEY ARE VERY BUSY.

Ha, I didn't hate the finale either! Though I think I had a few more objections than you like OMG NO BABIES! (Not you, adorable little Anastasia.) Seriously, it's not GG's fault entirely but I am so sick of pregnancy plotlines that I just want to rebel from all of them. XD

But JENNY CORPSE BRIDE HUMPHREY? Fuck no. We're through.
Hahaha, this is so exactly what ran through her head! Well done. Yeah, while I understood where Blair was coming from, the only thing I was really distressed about was whether this meant more interminable angst for Chuck and terrible one-shot love interests for Blair. Let's stick to hijinks in Paris and a hospital bed with a new lease on life and call it a deal. XD

They just bounce around, doing stupid things and ruining everyone's life by complete accident and it's wonderful.
I was amazed, during this episode I only objected to Serena/Dan out of gut instinct! My heart was saying NO STEP AWAY before my mind managed "Aw, this is kind of nice." It felt good to remember those S1 feelings, as much as I hope that we angle back to the puppies soon. :) Though it was almost all worth it for the lolarious NATE ARCHIBALD: SUBSTITUTE CHUCK BASS, NOW HIRING PROSTITUTES RATHER THAN BEING ONE. :D

I came up with this theory about Jenny awhile back because I was trying to figure out what was her thing. Like Blair is all about control and Vanessa is all about stalking and Chuck is all about the burlesque which makes him perfect for Blair because she's always staging these movies in her head.
Perfect! I love that bit about Chuck and the burlesque vs Blair and the silver screen, nicely done. But it really does seem like fandom needs a huge reality check on Jenny. Um, guys, where else will we get such terrific lulz? We can't have Georgie all the time! We don't want to see Serena date a crack dealer and repeat the whole Aaron Bobby fiasco! This episode I really felt like she was so young, I felt really terrible for her even though everything was all her own doing. That crying scene and not letting Eric even touch her! :(

CALLBACKS ♥♥

I'm betting that by the second day Blair will be crowned some kind of royalty and Serena will have accidentally knocked down the Eiffel Tower.
I am SO EXCITED. So excited. I can't wait for the inevitable shopping montage and the sexy accents and Blair and Serena sharing a crepe in the style of your icon shoot. BFFS OF MY HEART FOREVER! ♥

I mean Chuck was really going to propose in front of TOURISTS?

YAY! I feel like we should start a club of people who don't completely hate the show. It would probably consist of like three members at this point. And two of them would be us. LOL! Dear GG fandom: While not a perfect show, it's not TERRIBLE. Also, the first season was fantastic, but was not exactly the zenith of television. Please re-adjust your expectations accordingly. XOXO: Me.

(I don't know if I've mentioned this lately, but GG fandom, whenever I venture into it, really bums me out.)

Seriously, it's not GG's fault entirely but I am so sick of pregnancy plotlines that I just want to rebel from all of them. XD

No I actually agree with this. I'm hoping that a.) She's not really pregnant and it turns out to be the GG equivalent of that Arrested Development storyline with Georgina and an array of pregnancy fatsuits OR b.) it's not Dan's baby but rather the spawn of some Russia druglord that she's going to make Dan fight. (PS: Why hasn't this show hired me yet?)

Let's stick to hijinks in Paris and a hospital bed with a new lease on life and call it a deal. XD

YES. Let's hope so because if I have to deal with a repeat of Chuck's save-a-ho storyline again I will be the one shooting someone. Although some new spoilers came out from the upfronts that are SO Hana Yori Dango that I literally laughed for like five minutes when I read them. Next season is probably going to be epic.

My heart was saying NO STEP AWAY before my mind managed "Aw, this is kind of nice." It felt good to remember those S1 feelings, as much as I hope that we angle back to the puppies soon.

That's how I felt too! Like I started out as "NOOO" and then it sort of turned into "Oh man. Serena/Dan! I forgot how cute you guys were. Hey! Dan Humphrey is relevant to the storyline again?" But I really hope we get back to the happy puppy couple soon because they just fill me with joy.

NATE ARCHIBALD: SUBSTITUTE CHUCK BASS, NOW HIRING PROSTITUTES RATHER THAN BEING ONE. :D

AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! He's all grown up now!

But it really does seem like fandom needs a huge reality check on Jenny. Um, guys, where else will we get such terrific lulz?
I love making fun of Jenny but I don't think I would ever want her to go anywhere permenately. I mean no one else is as consistently insane as her besides Georgina. And Georgina once sold her pony for crack so I don't even...when you're up in the G.Sparks arena you're pretty crazy.

This episode I really felt like she was so young, I felt really terrible for her even though everything was all her own doing. That crying scene and not letting Eric even touch her! :(
I felt awful for her. She looked so tiny and sad. It was all her fault but this whole show is about people who do awful things and yet you feel for them anyway.

SO MANY CALLBACKS. I loved it.

I can't wait for the inevitable shopping montage and the sexy accents and Blair and Serena sharing a crepe in the style of your icon shoot. BFFS OF MY HEART FOREVER! ♥

I think this is legit what I'm hoping will come from Paris. Shopping montage! Crepes! Blair buying a series of berets, some of them attached to headbands! Serena getting drunk on the Eiffel Tower!

Ahahaha! YOU'RE MY FAVORITE, MORGAN! AMAAAAAAAZING SNARK.
Thanks bb! <3

I agree with so much of this! Truth is I really liked this episode, too. Maybe that's partly only because they FINALLY got rid of Jenny. Which itself is kinda sad since I used to really really like her in season one (when she was, you know, a quite sweet kid with like normal hair and no crazy panda eyes and had yet to make it her life goal to destroy everyone else’s relationships).

On the other hand, I still don't see why everyone thinks it's such a big deal that Chuck slept with Jenny. Not that I get the attraction, but that's his problem, no one else's, right? I mean, how is that worse than, for instance, Blair sleeping with HIS UNCLE last season?, or him sleeping with VANESSA? ... At least that makes me sure they'll get through it.

Also:

I mean Chuck was really going to propose in front of TOURISTS?
THIS. I mean, really? He's Chuck Bass, right? I'm sure he could have rented the ESB for the day. He must really not have thought she would show up. OH CHUCK.

And:
Fake cancer in Palm Beach not looking so bad now huh?
HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA. Yeah.

And lastly:
I actually kind of enjoyed the cliffhanger. What I don't enjoy is the talk about him being dead and returning as a ghost. please. Also people are discussing amnesia. I just can't get HYD season two out of my head and am as I'm typing picturing a reunion between B and C like the one between Domyouji och Makino, mostly because her scarf played like a big part in that and they could totally use Chuck's scarf on GG. (So sorry about that but I couldn't get it out of my head and I figured: where else to share that thought if not here!?)

Anyway, sorry for writing you a novel, and thanks for sharing your thoughts! I very much enjoyed it. :)

I agree with so much of this! Truth is I really liked this episode, too.
Yay! I was sure that everyone hated the finale but it's nice seeing more people who liked it. <3

Oh man, watching the old seasons with normal!Jenny is actually sort of depressing. What happened to you Taylor Momsen? I can't even decide if her hair or the panda eyes are worse but it's all so terrible now.

On the other hand, I still don't see why everyone thinks it's such a big deal that Chuck slept with Jenny.
They really did act like it was the END OF THE WORLD. I mean, I get why Dan and Blair would be pissed off. But everyone else was so ~shocked~ about it too. (Although I seriously hope Serena convinced Jenny to get an STD panel. lol!)

I'm sure he could have rented the ESB for the day. He must really not have thought she would show up. OH CHUCK.
Oh man I didn't even think of that. SO TRUE. I like to think that he just intended for them to make up there, not to propose there because...tacky.

What I don't enjoy is the talk about him being dead and returning as a ghost. please.
I don't think you have to worry about that. The show knows it can't kill off Chuck Bass. I would be way more worried about pretty much ANYONE else. (Except Serena/Blair)

Also people are discussing amnesia. I just can't get HYD season two out of my head and am as I'm typing picturing a reunion between B and C like the one between Domyouji och Makino, mostly because her scarf played like a big part in that and they could totally use Chuck's scarf on GG.

I KNOW! I laughed so hard when I read that CW upfront write up. Now I really hope that Chuck's new mysterious girlfriend tell Blair that Serena is trapped in a snowstorm, causing Blair to almost kill herself looking for Serena. And then Chuck runs out to her rescue and they get trapped in a cabin and there's something with his scarf and he's like "OMG OTP! SEXYTIMES NOA!" This would make up for every minute of Vanessa screentime ever.

(So sorry about that but I couldn't get it out of my head and I figured: where else to share that thought if not here!?)
Please we all know how I feel about HYD=GG! (http://mojotastic.livejournal.com/177007.html#cutid1) This is a safe place! <3
