Gossip Girl Fanmix: Love Like Ours is Terrible News {A Blair/Chuck Mix}

So I've had at least half of this mix sitting on my computer for like...six months? A year? (My fanmix process takes FOREVER, it is quite sad. At this rate I will post my Serena/Blair and Chuck fanmixes like ten years after the show goes off.) But I'm actually glad I waited or else it wouldn't have included the awesome She & Him song that's the title. Seriously though, no more perfect Blair/Chuck song exists I'm pretty sure.

Also this is a super belated bday present for the lovely topazera. Thanks for being awesome and thanks for giving me a reason to get off my ass and finally post this. Hope you enjoy!


Love Like Ours is Terrible News {A Blair/Chuck Mix}


So I guess this fanmix is technically Part Two in my Blair and Chuck fanmix series.

I also realize I'm one of like...three people who actually liked s3. (I'm not saying it's perfect, I just don't think it's as horrible as the rest of fandom?) I mean any season that involves Jenny as a drug mule and Serena almost being killed by WOLVES is pretty fantastic in my book. But let's face it, as much love as I have for my flossy bb Serena, this is still a show about our favorite evil people. And Blair and Chuck, no matter how many fake/real/fake?real? Moms pop up, are still awesome. And evil.

My hope for next year is that Blair gets recruited into the CIA or something while on vacation in France and becomes a secret agent. In the meantime Chuck realizes that even though he is a ~titan of industry~ he can still dress like a total nutter. Seriously if they don't have Chuck wearing a primary color or a shirt with some form of wildlife embroidered on next year I may cry.

Fantastic mix! I can't say how good it is to see someone else who loved season 3. Fandom's been so depressing lately -- I was beginning to think I was the only one who loves Chuck and Blar dark and twisted and AWESOME like this. Anywho, thanks for the tracks!

With the exception of the Lady Gaga song (I've heard that song just one too many times) I think they all fit Chuck and Blair perfectly. Heck, even the lady gaga song works for them, I'm just a little tired of it. :D

Thanks bb! I actually debated about whether or not to put the Lady Gaga one on there. When I was originally putting the mix together the song had just come out and I was like "omgomg so Blair and Chuck!" but obviously now I feel like it's a little bit of a fanmix cliche. Also no matter how much I love Bad Romance, it is played FAR too often.
