So! I still have a TON of things to post about but I've been so busy lately. And instead of posting about any of those things?



MY BRAIN IS FRIED FROM AWESOME! OMFG!

Ok, so I'll admit that I'm not in love with the ending to the Georgina arc. But to be fair to the writers, they thought they'd have four more episodes to work with and then got stuck with five instead of nine because of the strike. So I understand why so much in the back five was rushed, including Georgie's ousting. I mean, there had to be time for Dan to be a whiny little bitch and for Nate to realize that crack is wack but fleeing the country is wack-er. Also I love that my favorite Georgina fact is now canon: that she sold her riding pony for cocaine. Oh G. I'll miss you bb. Come visit.

Oh Serena/Dan. You are making it harder to ship you guys. Remember the good days when you were adorable and having sex in the fake snow and dramatically kissing to The Pierces? I remember those times. Those were good times. The bad part (or well written part?) is that both of them are pretty equally implicit in the ending of their relationship. If Dan wasn't such a judgmental douche, Serena would have been able to tell him her ~secret~ about how she didn't even really remotely kill a guy once. And if Serena used more of her brain cells she would have realized that telling Dan that she banged two guys isn't exactly going to be puppies and giggles for the relationship. Neither is acting like a complete sketcher for weeks on end and letting him hang out with a psychotic chick that could stab him in the neck with her eyeliner at any time. (Love ya G!)

I did lulz when Dan said he was the most understanding guy in the world. Really? Really Dan? Have you met, oh...I don't know...anyone else in the world?

Rufus and Lily were adorable and I love them them muchly, espically when Rufus let her go and told her not to trip. I'm gonna love when they get together down the line but for now I'm loving Van Der Bass FAR too much to care. Also, way to be creepy and awesome Bart Bass, with your thinly veiled metaphor! I see where Chuck gets some of his weirdness now.

BLAIR AND CHUCK! CHUCK AND BLAIR! OMFGGGG!!!!! Man. I thought the scene of them cuddling in bed was awesome. I didn't know that Chuck would be dropping the L-bomb! And then giving his Date Rapist speech (how much do I love that everyone laughed uncomfortably at that point? Like everyone was like "Omg plz don't rape me lol!") and gazing lovingly at each other! AND DANCING AND KISSING OMG! And "taking it slow"? (Ya right. They totally had limo!sex on the way out of the reception, you know it.) Although my favorite might have been when she straightened his tie and then tried to break his leg. I love them so much it's probably not even healthy.

I loved Happy Relationship Blair being really inappropriate and over sharing with Serena about frisking Chuck. Serena and Nate were both totally rooting for C/B though. They were like "Who knew that the two craziest, scariest people would actually hook up? It's adorable and frightening!"

So obviously I love B/C. But I was CRACKING UP during the scene where Bart was trying to have an honest heart to heart with Chuck about how he was proud that Chuck was becoming less of a Creepy Rapist and Chuck was like "Wait. Wait. Something about this seems wrong! OMG I CAN'T BE A NON CREEPER! CHEAP WHORE, COME TO ME!" Oh Chuck. I think if she *were* to interior decorate your room it would be pink with Hello Kitty and tea cup puppies. Do you want that? This is what your blowing off Blair in my favorite Nautical inspired outfit for? (Seriously. I know that outfit was ridic but I love it SO MUCH. The little hat! And gloves!) I can't wait to see where they take those two crazy kids next season! B/C are totes epic in an awesome serial-killer way and I love them so much.

Speaking of pairings lining up for next season: I find myself strangely ok with the idea of Nate/Serena. If it was the beginning of the season I probably would have been crying at the idea. But Nate has developed something close to an actual personality and it is oddly charming. And they're both so laid back (Nate+Pot= OTP4eva! I loved Dan's pot line) that I feel like they would both just be like "Hey! Let's just be hot and do each other's hair! Let's spin in the middle of the street in a leopard print pimp coat!" And Nate would totally be down for that. I can't believe I feel strangely ok with Nate/Serena. What has happened to me?

What I'm not ok with? Dan/Vanessa. Dear, sweet baby lord. Don't let it happen. If Nate/Serena are the flossiest available pairing then Dan/Vanessa are the least flossy. Please. No. They will only get MORE annoying in each other's presence and we'll have to sit through that. Could you imagine?

Overall? BEST SEASON EVER. Oh show, never stop being so awesome. I feel lost and alone without more GG on the immediate horizon like Dan when he has to go shopping or Jenny when she has to eat her brown paper bag lunches.

ETA: I totally forgot that the reform school they're sending Georgie to is called PENANCE. How awesome is that? Best name for anything ever, y/y?

HEE. I agree with EVERY SINGLE THING YOU SAY. YES. All the posts I've seen on my flist are horrified over it all and I just sort of want to be like "... but it was awesome!"

I'm done with Dan/Serena, because he's SO judgmental and I dislike her when she's with him. I loved her way more when she was with Nate than any of the scenes from the past few weeks that she was with Dan. So count me in as someone else who's strangely okay with them. Except when I say 'strangely okay', I mean 'I spent the end of the episode flailing over them and then had to pause and flail because I LIKED IT.'

(Also, anything that can somehow lead to fab four interaction is good with me!)

Chuck/Blair were fantastic this episode. I still love how they fell asleep together while plotting destruction! And then her fixing his tie and then trying to kill him? I was totally "yep, that's my OTP!" My younger brother was looking at me like I was insane, but he has no room to talk, since I am not the fourteen-year-old boy watching GG and getting involved in it.

I thought it was awesome as well! These people that are whining really have to man up! It was great stuff. Just as I expect from the greatest show of our times. :P

I know! I miss cute, sweeping her off her feet D/S. Her being unable to be honest (probably because she's never done the whole serious relationship before) and his inability to not be a judgmental ass pretty much doomed their relationship. Still, I do appreciate that it was pretty mutual, as far as them both being at fault.

But yea....my strangely ok-ness with Nate/Serena is freaking me out. I'd been starting to think that they would actually be pretty well matched a few episodes before. Because they're both so mellow. I feel like if she not-really-killed another person Nate would just be like "Oh. Darn" LOL!

Chuck/Blair are so OTP I don't even think it's funny anymore. I<3THEMSOMUCH!

I loved the season finale- with the exception of Georgina's ousting. It could have been more crazy dramatic but eh.

I actually really dislike the Nate/Serena pairing. I love Nate's personality and Serena's but I prefer them to stay friends- I want more Nate/Vanessa! I can't imagine N/S becoming a couple in the next season o-o;. Also I dislike the Dan/Vanessa thing too.

And Chuck, omg...Chuck and Blair= so much love!!! My roommate and I were talking on the phone while watching the show and she actually started crying during Chuck's speech. It was pretty cute.

I REALLY wish the show had a few more eps- it's like crack.

I know! The season finale was so good. I give them some leeway because the strike really must have messed up their plans for the last few episodes. They had to pack the wedding in with Georgina and G was the one that got shafted. :( I wish they had had more episodes it make it more ~dramatic~.

I started out the season really thinking N/S were boring as watching paint dry. Now I'm sort of coming around to them. I doubt that they'll hook up for very long though. I wish they had spent more time on N/V instead of just randomly throwing them together and then having them break up offscreen. WTF? Why even have them hook up in the first place? They could have waited until next season for that.

D/V would be the most annoying thing I could think of though.

Chuck and Blair are the cutest things ever. Awww! LOL that's so cute! His speech was so cute, although borderline creepy. But I think that's a pretty good description for him anyway. LOL

I know! I'm gonna be going through GG withdrawl now.

G's outing could have DEFINITELY been more dramatic, but it did result in one of my alltime favorite gossip girl lines EVER! "Didn't you know I'm the crazy bitch around here?" CLASSIC. I fucking love Blair. And I love her with Chuck, and I wish it would work for real but hey- he's Chuck Bass. I LOVE. LOVE. LOVVEEEEE. how they worked that line in there at the end. LOVE IT OMG I SCREAMED.

I know! Blair is my hero, true story. I wish it was more dramatic but then again she is going to a reform school called PENANCE, which is hilarious. Also "I lasted longer than Lohan!" was awesome.

I loved the "I'm Chuck Bass" line! They are so cute, I'm sure there will be more fun stuff with them next season.

I'm glad that they didn't go with blaming just one person for the break up. Both of them made mistakes and are equally responsible for this.

Van Der Bass FTW! I can't wait to see more of my favourite new crazy TV family. It's going to be amazing. Imagine them all having dinner. I totes love Bart ... but not in a creepy way.

There was a rumor that MT was coming back as a full time cast member, which I honestly think is *too* much of a good thing. But I'd love her to come back for another arc next season. I'm sure they'll try to get her because I heard now that she *won't* be full time. So really, who knows. Also me and goddesspharo came up with the idea that SMG should play G's older sister, SMG Sparks who carries around coke in her cross and once sold her younger sister for crack. :P I demand they make this happen now.
