So I have ~*~deep thoughts~*~ about Monday's episode of Gossip Girl that I need to share. But I must say that this season is looking really pretty and Chuck's outfits are gayer than usual and it makes me sad that my computer with Paintshop is slowly dying because I feel the need for icons. ARGYLE NO!!

Gossip Girl is really American Hanadan. It really, really is. Just when you think it can't get any better...it does.
Serena is Nate's beard! BWAH! I love it. It's so weird, liking Nate. When did Nate get likable? Was it when they fixed his hair? Or when he wowed us all with his other facial expression? I don't know but I sort of love Nate now. Oh Natey. So dumb, so pretty. He and Serena are fantastic together. Like I've admitted before...I think I sort of ship them a little? Maybe? I honestly think that they might be a little dull on screen to watch, which is why I don't want them together. What would be their ~*~issues~*~? "I'm prettier!" "No! I am!" "Oh! Sparkly object! *wanders off*" Still, I love their friendship. I want more scenes of the two of them together, making out and getting each other drunk. Ah, friendship.
(Also, Nate totally went to the right person to get him drunk. Serena knows about these things. I'm surprised he wasn't twirling in a pimp coat in the middle of the party, asking for pie.)
Manwhore!Dan! LOLOLOLOLOLOL! I love it. Oh D.Humps. I want to hate you so much and yet...you get me every time. I was so on board with D.Humps and his stupid manpain and his stupid non-fiction fiction that's always has an ~important date~ as the title. (He's EdGeY!) And then of course he had to go and be all stupid and judgmental on Serena again. Oh D.Humps! I'm trying to like you bb. Let's try less judgment and more shameless whoring in your wifebeater.
Seriously though, I don't know how I feel about Dan and Serena being back together. I like them and I wanted them to get back together, but I thought that a little time apart would help them get to a place where they would be together without all of Dan's BS and Serena's weird need for his approval. Oh well. I guess I sort of love them for their unhealthy dysfunction anyway.
OMG SERENA'S HAIR! I'VE MISSED YOU SO MUCH. Her hair for the white party was so beautiful. OMG IT WAS LITERALLY DAZZLING. If my hair looked like Serena's (I cry about this everyday) I would wear it like that ALL THE TIME. I would wear it like that when just going out to get Starbucks. Or walking my dog. It was SO PRETTY.
"There's something I need to tell you. [Cue British accent] My name is Marcus, I'm British...and I'm a lord."
Oh Gentle Jesus, that's hilarious. I don't think I've ever loved a line of television more than that. BEST PLOT TWIST EVER CREATED. Blair and Chuck! Chuck and Blair! OMG! PAIN! I loved them so much in this episode. I'm really loving the angst. When he saw her heart pin on Marcus' sleeve and his face fell. SO SAD. I loved the "we are totally the same and evil so let's go have limo!sex and ruin someone's life" conversation. It's totally true, even if Blair doesn't want to admit it. I died when he mentioned that Blair loved limos. LOLOLOL! Oh Chuck. BB. Never stop being creepy.
How much did I love his awesome polo outfit, with all the argyle? I think that might be among my favorite Chuck-Bass-Fashions now. And I love that Chuck has a private investigator on speed dial.
Also I know I'm a broken record about this already but the Van der Bass family is so much love. I adore Serena and Chuck's totally bro/sis interactions. They've totally went into sibling mode over the summer and I love it.
Oh Rufus. It's nice to know you spent the entire summer in that same position on your tour bus, talking to your horrible children. PS: Where were Lily and Bart? More Lily plz.

That might be my favorite B/C scene now. So much sadness and angst. Of course Chuck couldn't say "I Love You". So much of Chuck Bass is involved with his whole "I'm Chuck Bass" persona that to say that would totally destroy it. According to the myth that he's created around himself, Chuck Bass only loves himself and argyle. (And possibly dressing like a colorblind grandfather?) To say that to Blair would be like giving up a piece of himself. And Blair wanted him to say it so much so that she could justify forgiving him and having limo!sex. OMG I loved this scene so much. The tears! The longing! Their awful, awesome white party outfits!

Whatever Little J. You are so lucky that Eric is *that* desperate for friendship. But on the plus side for Eric, at least his hair is one color now. So he now looks 90% less like Tony the Tiger.
Finally, I am now obsessed with Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi" which they played when Serena and Nate kissed. HOWEVER. I take offense to them using it with Serena/Nate. This is obviously a Blair/Chuck song. Sample lyrics:

Also I'm pretty sure that Uma Thurman's stalker totally listened to this song and was like "Yes! I'll give her a chance to know me!" This song is amazingly Chuck Bass-creepy.
I'm so excited about next week's episode. "You're work is flawless". HEE!
I just got my Blake/Penn Entertainment Weekly today! YAY! They are so precious. Oh Blake and P.Funk. I'm glad you two crazy kids are making it work. I love the photos inside the magazine though so much! Espically the one where they're all sitting down and Leighton/Ed/Jessica/Chace are being cute and awesome and Blake/Penn are being all romancey and adorable. I totally want to hang out with the cast of this show and get drunk with them.

YES YES YES! I'm so glad it's not just me. I have no idea why I suddenly care about Nate, but I DO! And his face is suddenly less Efron-like and ... I like that? And while I don't want him and serena to be the next Serena/Dan, I do ship them in a way. Like, I want them to be friends with benefits? I don't know. I just liked how they could be just THEM with each other. You know, without someone going "OH NO! I THOUGHT I KNEW YOU BUT I DON'T!"

Exactly. I don't like Dan, even though I wish I would. It would make things easier. But I'm not totally against the idea of D/S, just not NOW. The scene with Dan getting all angry for no reason showed exactly why they shouldn't be back together. They haven't had enough time to get over what happened. They're back where they used to be, with the same issues and insecurities. Not good.
Also, YES SERENA'S HAIR WAS THE PRETTIEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN! I bet even Edward would've been dazzled by that. (Btw, is it wrong of me to want you writing me GG/Twilight fanfic?)

I KNOW! I think we need to start a support group or something. I realized that I was sort of coming around to them at the end of last season. Yep, I agree. Even though I'm not a big fan of Dan I know that it's not all his fault. They both have their fair share of drama and issues. That's why I was glad when Serena suggested to slow done and think about everything because those issues are still there. But then, of course, they had to go back to not caring.
